The race favourites were Senior Inspector Billy Chan Sze-tat, Woman Inspector Jacqueline Choi Nga-wing, and Woman Police Constable Ng Yuk-lin. who together set four Force records. Evergreen swimmers Chief Inspector Kelvin Ho Ka-fei (Senior) and Senior Police Constable Chau Kim-fai (Veteran) also set three Force records in total.
