Inspired performances by Lai Hok-yan of Railway District and Flora Li Ying-ping of Police Training School helped secure a clean sweep of silverware for the Force's team in the Corporate Games Distance Run Competition held on November 16 at Plover Cove Reservoir main dam.

In the Men's Open 7.5-km race, Lai led from start to finish, and was assisted in securing team victory by the outstanding running of Leung Wai-ho (2nd), Chan Man-for (3rd), Lo Kin-leung (4th) and Lee Ka-po (5th), ensuring that all medals on offer were taken home by the police team.

In the Women's Open, the ever-present Flora Li took on the youngsters with a blistering display over the 5-km course to take gold, closely followed by the talented Cheung Leung-yuk (2nd). In support, ensuring the team trophy for the ladies were fantastic performances by Lau Fung-ming (4th), Chung Pui-shan (6th), and Han Wing-yee (7th).

As always, the Men's Senior Division was a hotly contested affair, seeing a sterling performance from Ko Fuk-ming (3rd) to hold off the ubiquitous Ho Kam-fuk (4th) over 5 km. Again, the strength in depth from the police team was evident with superb performances from Siu Yiu-hung (5th), Wong Siu-pang (6th), and Cheung Chor-ming (8th), securing victory for the team.

The team photograph says it all. The Force's team took home 11 trophies and a plethora of medals, leaving little behind for the opponents.
