Police Constable (PC) Szeto Wai-fai from the Sham Shui Po Regional Crime Prevention Unit has won the "Best Overall Slogan" title in the first "Crime Prevention Slogan Competition" organised by the Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB).

Mr Szeto's slogan reads: "Crime prevention awareness brings you benefits".

The competition has received an encouraging response from officers dedicated to preventing crime, and from scores of entries, a Selection Committee has chosen 10 winning slogans, including the "Best Overall Slogan".

At the prize presentation ceremony held at CPB Headquarters, the winners got a surprising reward in addition to a souvenir from Mr William Coalter, Superintendent of CPB - an opportunity to recite their winning slogans!

The prize-winning slogans will be printed on leaflets, posters or souvenirs to disseminate the crime prevention messages to the public.
