The Police Tennis Club (PTC) has pulled off more victories in two recent tournaments - the 29th All Civil Servants Henry Fok Cup Tournament and the 2004 Hong Kong Tennis Association Corporate Patron League.

In the Henry Fok Cup Tennis Torunament, the PTC team successfully defended the Inter-Department (Doubles) title by defeating long-time rival Fire Services Department in the final. This represents the Force's ninth win in the history of the tournament.

The PTC sent the strongest team to compete in the Corporate Patron League, which attracted a total of 32 teams, including some from large corporations. Members of the team comprised SSP Tse, IP Clement Lee Kwok-chung, IP Lee Wing-cheung, SGT Koun, PTR Wong, PC Lau and SIP See. After overcoming a couple of tough matches in the final stage of the tournament, the PTC team won all their matches as the Premier Group Champions - the second time the team has won the title since 1995.

In the 15th Inter-Forces tennis Tournament, the PTC team, led by Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai, played a number of friendly matches at the Police Training School with a 21-member Royal Thai Police Tennis Team.

This traditional inter-port tennis match between Hong Kong and Thailand, which was inaugurated in 1985, has been one of the important events for the PTC to project a positive image of the Force and to build up friendship with other police forces.
