The Vice-Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, Mr Wang Huayuan, led an 11-member delegation from the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department to call on Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai on October 12.

In the afternoon of the same day, the New Zealand Consul General in Hong Kong, Mr Julian Ludbrook, paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner.
