Healthy lifestyle was the order of the day when some 600 officers and civilian staff members from Kowloon East Region attended their Regional Sports Day 2006 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 3. The annual sports meet saw intense competition in a variety of events such as seven-a-side football, tug-of-war, shuttle run relay, lawn bowls, ten pins bowling, squash, tennis and table tennis.

The highlight of the day came in the afternoon when Kowloon East Regional Commander Kevan Cooper and Deputy Regional Commander Fung Kwok-on officiated at final rounds of seven-a-side football, tug-of-war and fun sports relay, and when the cheering teams did their best to entertain the spectators during a cheering competition.

After a day of heated and enjoyable competition, Wong Tai Sin District grabbed the Major Unit Trophy while Traffic Kowloon East won the Minor Unit Trophy and the cheering competition.
