A busy spell has begun for frontline officers as thousands of Mainland visitors are flocking across the border for their National Day Golden Week holiday. The officers implemented special traffic arrangements and crowd management measures when the National Day Fireworks Display took place on the evening of October 1.

About 335,000 people, including Mainland visitors, packed vantage points on both sides of the harbour to watch the colourful display, thanks to officers' hard work and well planning.

Early in the morning, officers joined members of the other disciplined services at the National Day flag-raising ceremony and parade at the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.
