PPRB forges closer ties with GCA recipients
Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) established the "Good Citizen Award (GCA) Alumni" early this year with a view to proactively engaging all Good Citizen Awardees and forging a long-term and constructive relationship with them. So far, more than 100 awardees have joined the alumni.
PPRB has also launched a GCA Alumni Newsletter to update members on the latest news and activities of the Force. Copies of the first issue were sent to all registered members by e-mail on September 1.
PPRB has organised activities exclusively for alumni members. In the past months, they visited the Police Dog Unit and passing-out parades of the Police College and the Police Tactical Unit. It is hoped that these activities would encourage alumni members as well as their families and friends to continue supporting the Force.
