As part of Eastern District's (EDIST) Strategic Action Plan (SAP) to combat crime, a party of officers from Police Community Relations Office, Region Crime Prevention Unit, Task Force Sub-unit and North Point Division Patrol Sub-unit, together with EDIST Senior Police Call members, carried out a publicity drive at 11 locations, including Victoria Park and Chun Yeung Street Market, on March 21 and 25, reminding the public to beware of theft, pickpocketing and deception.
The Senior Police Call members pitched in for the distribution of publicity leaflets and souvenirs carrying crime prevention messages to secure community support for the fight against crime.
