For exchanging intelligence on the latest developments and investigation techniques of combatting commercial crimes, Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) invited the Gaming-related and Economic Crimes Investigation Department of the Judiciary Police in Macao (MJP) to have a sharing session with CCB officers on March 28.

A seven-member delegation comprising representatives from the Economic Crimes Division, Anti-Money Laundering Division and IT Crimes Division of MJP shared their latest developments and discussed various issues with CCB officers.

During the working meeting, CCB Chief Superintendent Chung Siu-yeung and Mr Vong Chi-hong, head of the Economic Crimes Division of the Gaming-related and Economic Crimes Investigation Department, reported on the commercial crime trends in Hong Kong and Macao and reviewed some of the fruitful results of co-operation achieved last year.

Following an exchange of intelligence on counterfeit credit cards and currencies, technology crimes, telephone deception and money laundering, the two sides pledged to work more closely and look into future training in tackling commercial crimes.
