Introduction of the New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Exhibition Room
Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) has set up the Crime Prevention Exhibition Room on 1/F, No. 27, Government Service Complex, Tseng Choi Street, Tuen Mun in 2008. It is managed by the New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office of the HKPF. The security and anti-theft products displayed in the exhibition room are provided by a number of type III licensed companies in the security industry for public visit. The purpose of this exhibition room is to raise the anti-theft awareness of the general public and instill the concept of burglary prevention through showcasing the security equipment.
The exhibition room has a total area of 50 sq. metres and is divided into six categories, including:
- Access Control System
- Retail Security System
- CCTV System
- Intruder Alarm System
- Door & Window Locks
- Other Security Products
The exhibition room is open from Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Members of the public and group visitors are welcome to visit by appointment.
