It is with great pleasure to announce that the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) has been named as a winner of the ‘2013 Hong Kong Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Award’, ‘2013 Asian MAKE Award’ and ‘2013 Global (Independent Operating Unit) MAKE Award’ in August, October and December 2013 respectively.

The MAKE Award is an annual competition organised by an independent KM organisation and held in Hong Kong, Asia, Europe, America and also globally to recognise the achievements made by outstanding enterprises and organisations in the successful implementation of corporate-wide KM programmes.

The 2013 Global MAKE Award adjudicating panel comprises the Global Fortune 500 senior executives plus KM experts, and after three rounds of stringent assessment, gave recognition to the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) for its continual efforts and success in creating an enterprise knowledge driven culture. The Global MAKE Award that the HKPF has won belongs to the Independent Operating Unit (IOU) category, which includes government departments, state enterprises, non-profit organisations and independent companies/ divisions of multinational corporations.

The Award not only recognises that the HKPF is an admirable law enforcement agency but also confirms it as a knowledge-powered learning organisation committed to serving Hong Kong society in a global context.
