Electronic Tendering: (i) Tenderers are required to upload their digital certificates to PCMS before submission of tender offers through ETB. ETB accepts the digital certificates issued by the recognised certification authorities of Hong Kong. All tenderers whether in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong have to use the digital certificates to sign and submit their tender offers to GLD electronically through ETB as an alternative to paper-based tender submission. (ii) The total file size (after zipped) of an electronic offer should not exceed 30 MB. Tenderers should also allow sufficient time for complete data transmission before 12:00 NOON (Hong Kong Time) on 13 June 2012 when submitting their electronic offers.(iii) For tenderers without any of the digital certificates which are accepted by ETB or the file size of their electronic offers each exceeding 30 MB, paper-based tendering should be used. For more details, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions. Paper-based Tendering : Tenders in paper form must be deposited in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box before 12:00 NOON (Hong Kong Time) on 13 June 2012. Remarks: In case Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force for any duration between 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 NOON on the tender closing date, the tender closing time will be extended to 12:00 NOON on the next working day. All time references are Hong Kong time. Late tenders will not be accepted. |
