Sportsmen’s Programme for Recruitment Experience And Development

With strong self-discipline, perseverance, sense of responsibility, physical fitness and team spirit, athletes have long been identified as suitable candidates for disciplinary forces.

To better equip athletes with genuine interest in joining the Force, Recruitment Division of the Hong Kong Police has launched Project SPREAD (Sportsmen's Programme for Recruitment, Experience And Development - 運動員招募計劃) in July 2021 with activities held to enhance their overall competitiveness for future transformation as a Police.

Applicants must be satisfying the following criteria :

• Current or former HK National Squad member; or
• Current or former HK Junior Squad member; or
• Currently or previously participated in the highest level of local competitions; or
• Outstanding performance in previous competitions organized by the University Sports Federation of HK (USFHK) or HK Schools Sports Federation (HKSSF).

Current members including athletes from the following sports :

Members will have the opportunities to participate in interview workshops, visits to Police units and to interact with different Police officers.
