My most unforgettable JPC activity was a raffle sale event for Ronald McDonald House Charities, which is a non-profit organization providing affordable temporary homes for seriously ill or injured children.

Ronald McDonald House is located near the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin. So children can receive immediate treatment in case of sudden deterioration of their conditions.

I participated in the selling of raffle tickets with other JPC members. We all knew that this was a meaningful task and tried our best to ask for donations. Most people were willing to buy the tickets when they heard our slogan "helping sick children".

The organisers had also invited four pop singers to help raise money. Of course, they raised much more money than we did, but we did not mind! We knew that every single ticket we sold made a difference to the life of the sick children!

Yu Ka Wai, JPC TPDIST, received a cheque from Mr Enrico Tsang, Branch Manager of HSBC Tai Po.
