I am a 14-year-old Form four student. Among all the subjects I have to take this year, I love "Art Development (AD)" the most.  This subject is new to me. Only Form four students in my school are required to take it.

What is AD? In our AD lessons, our teacher, Mr Tang, introduces us the latest development in music, art and design. He teaches us how to appreciate pop songs and famous paintings in the world. For teenagers like me, it is really an eye-opener!

I especially love the part of pop song appreciation. I can relax myself and enjoy the music.  I can also learn about the cultures of different countries by analysing different genres of pop song.

Since we are working very hard in other lessons, the AD lessons are more like a time for us to break away from the stress. We only have to work on two small projects this year. Sometimes, Mr Tang even plays some music videos to keep our spirits up when we are having a long day at school.

I have to take AD lesson only this year. I will treasure the remaining AD lessons. I believe that the more I enjoy them, the more I will gain from them.
