The year 2024 marks the 180th anniversary of the Force. The Force organised a series of celebratory events with the theme ‘Safeguarding our city beyond 180 years’ which underscores the Force’s commitment to protecting Hong Kong beyond 180 years and ensuring Hong Kong remains one of the safest and most stable cities in the world, thereby echoing the Force’s motto ‘Serving Hong Kong with Honour, Duty and Loyalty’.

The celebratory events included the Pat Heung Race, the National Security Education Day cum Hong Kong Police Force 180th Anniversary Police College Open Day, the 19th Symposium on Police Studies of the Straits-cum-Hong Kong and Macao, and more than 70 sports and cultural activities.
