Tai Po District (TPDIST) raised over $140,000 in the Tai Po Charity Run 2013 on November 9 for the Hong Chi Pinehill No.3 School, a special school run by the Hong Chi Association.

 

In the charity run, TPDIST Deputy Commander Ng Wing-kai and Ms Annie Fonda, convenor of the event, led 70 police volunteers to complete a 4.8 km route along the jogging trail of Tai Po Waterfront. Many of the runners were joined by their family members, making the charity run a family event.

 

At the end of the event, Ms Fonda presented a cheque to Ms Cheung Lui, head of the school, while Mr Ng received a painting made by the students as a token of their gratitude to the Force.
