The Road Safety Team of Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) and the Road Safety Patrol of West Kowloon Region have come up with a novel idea to disseminate road safety messages to students.

Taking part in a promotional activity, "Road Safety - Let's Fly", in Tang King Bo College in Tin Kwong Road on November 23, many students showed their flair in designing their own gliders with road safety as the main theme. Police Flying Association Chairman, Mr Chan Wai-ming, was on hand to teach the students how to make gliders to vie for the award for the one that would fly for the longest distance.

Road Safety messages were spread in the air as the contestants competed for the award amid a lot of excitement. The contest concluded with T KW Chief Inspector Neil Taylor presenting awards to the winner and runners-up. He took the opportunity to remind the students to comply with traffic rules and pass on road safety messages to their peers and families.
