The Chairman of the Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC), Mr Chow Kam-cheung, and seven DFCC members visited Marine West Division (MWDIV) to get a better idea of the work of Marine Police.

 

Divisional Commander Ian Clark welcomed the guests and gave a briefing on the roles and responsibilities of his division as well as the current policing issues. The DFCC members then boarded a police launch for a short tour of the waters off Tuen Mun, during which Superintendent Clark highlighted the importance of forging close liaison with the nearby police land formations and other government departments in maritime law enforcement.
