During a visit to Sau Mau Ping District (SMPDIST) on December 31, Mr Haji Muhammad Azam, Rango Police Station House Officer of Attock District, Pakistan, was impressed with what SMPDIST had done in promoting racial harmony between the ethnic minorities and locals.

 

He was briefed by Acting SMPDIST Commander Cheung Shun-ho, Police Community Relations Officer Yiu Hon-sang and Police Community Liaison Assistant Umar Aftab Roy on two programmes for the Non-ethnic Chinese in SMPDIST, "Project Harmonious Pyramid" and "Project Harmony Green". He also took a close look at station facilities and police equipment and exchanged views on police work with SMPDIST officers.
