Two senior officers from the Police National Service Department (PNSD) of the Singapore Police Force visited the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police (HKAP) Headquarters in Kowloon Bay on January 23, looking into the roles of the HKAP and sharing experience of training and deployment for key point protection.

In Singapore, some young people having completed two years' compulsory national service would join the PNSD, one of whose roles is to protect key installations. The two officers toured the facilities at HKAP Headquarters and watched auxiliary officers from Western District undergo key point protection training as part of their annual camp, and commented favourably on what they saw.
