警聲

The Police Mini Rugby U9 team displayed their potential at the world-renowned Hong Kong 7s for the second time at Hong Kong Stadium on March 29. The team took part in the Mini Rugby Show Case, which was a curtain raiser for the main event.

Playing in front of large crowds was a daunting challenge for the Police kids, but they did the Force pride and played hard in a close encounter with Valley Fort. Cheered on by the crowds, the children performed extremely well.

Mini Rugby offers an excellent way for children to stay healthy, master new skills and make new friends in a safe environment. Training by qualified coaches and members of the Police Rugby Club is open to both boys and girls up to the age of 11 and no previous experience is required. The training is held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club every Sunday from 10 am to 11:30 am.

The training is free of charge, except the playing kit, which is at face value.

Force members interested in enrolling their children in mini rugby or playing themselves may contact the Police Rugby Club by emailing hkprugby@gmail.com.
