The Junior School of Journalism of the Renmin University of China organised in February a culture exchange tour in Hong Kong and Macao for Mainland primary and secondary school students aged 10 to 15. During the tour, the students visited law enforcement agencies and obtained first-hand information on their work and structures.

On February 10, 40 Mainland students, guided by Inspector Leung Ka-miu and Police Constable Ng Kwok-fung, both from Patrol Sub-unit 1 of Kowloon City Division, visited Kowloon City Police Station, touring the report room and taking a close look at police vehicles, the equipment used by a Police Constable on beat, and the work of dog handlers and police dogs.

The youngsters showed a great interest in what they saw and asked many questions on the Force's duties and relevant laws, with some indicating that their visit gave them a better picture of the professional image of the Force.
For the Mainland students, their visit to Kowloon City Police Station is quite an experience
