To assist with the career developments of Junior Police Officers (JPOs) with potential and to boost their confidence in Inspectorate recruitment, Kowloon East (KE) offered two activities on April 23, namely "Self-introduction" and "Leadership Exercise".

Deputy Regional Commander Cheng Shuk-chun kicked off the activities before 19 mentees and eight mentors of the Development Programme for JPOs with Potential, who joined the activities. The activities also attracted four undergraduates from the Police Mentorship Programme. Two former Extended Interview Members sat on the adjudicating panel for the two activities.

The participants first gave a self-introduction and answered questions from members of the panel, reflecting their determination to advance to the Inspectorate. During the Leadership Exercise conducted by panel members, the participants demonstrated teamwork in completing the exercise.

Addressing the participants, Ms Cheng emphasised the importance of grooming and supporting JPOs with potential for their career developments, in the interest of the Force's culture of pursuing continuous improvement.
