Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) has rolled out "Project Cyber" to coordinate a series of promotional and educational activities that aim to keep the public, including commercial companies, vigilant against on-line crime.

 

To mark the launch of the project, TWDIST Commander Steven Wordsworth, two Tsuen Wan District Councillors, Mr Lo Siu-kit and Mr Wong Ka-wa, together with officers from the Police Community Relations Office and crime units called at major commercial and industrial premises in Tsuen Wan and distributed copies of a leaflet on May 30. Mr Wordsworth's message for the community is: "Everyone has to remain alert to on-line crime in its many forms. Awareness and prevention are the best defence."
