Dear Sir,

This serves as a note of appreciation to the officers of Mobile Patrol Car 2, Patrol Sub-unit 4 of Sheung Shui Division.

On 17 May 2014 at around 1300 hrs, I reported a case of a fallen tree to your Sheung Shui Police Station Report Room.  The huge tree was lying on the pathway outside my villa, blocking and causing obstruction to cars and pedestrians entering the village.

Shortly after making the report, one of your officers contacted me and told me they were arriving.  He made sure that I was safe, and asked if there were people injured.

Within 30 minutes, your officers managed to remove the tree for traffic to resume.

I was truly impressed by the quick and swift response of your officers, not only did they rushed to scene but also handled the report in a professional way. Your officers provided a quality service, even though it was just a case involving a fallen tree.

I lived in Singapore, the United States and China for many years before finally settling down in Hong Kong. I have to admit that the Hong Kong Police is by far the best!

Therefore, please help me extend my token of appreciation to the officers who were involved. Grateful if these officers would receive acknowledgement of their good work.

Once again, thank you!

Alan
