The Regional Crime Prevention Office Hong Kong Island (RCPO HKI) and the "Upknowledge" Magazine have jointly organised a project called "Reach out for Police Dream". The first activity of the project was a visit to Police Tactical Unit (PTU) Headquarters in Fanling on June 13.

During the visit to PTU Headquarters, over 40 primary and secondary students from the Hong Kong Baptist University affiliated Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School watched officers undergoing foot drill training and found the officers' demeanour very impressive. The students then met Senior Inspector Lau Kwun-tang and learned about the PTU's arms and accoutrement. At the end of the visit, the students were looking forward to the next visit to other Police units.

"Upknowledge" Magazine is a school digest to provide informative and interesting articles for the youths in Hong Kong. Joining the project through the magazine, primary and secondary students have a chance to visit police units and form a positive image of the police by learning more about police work and training.
