The Chairman and Vice-chairman of Pat Heung Rural Committee, together with a Yuen Long District Councillor, called at Yuen Long Police Station on July 9 and presented a banner to Yuen Long District (YLDIST) Commander Tsang Cheung-tat as a token of appreciation for busting a theft syndicate by officers of the District Intelligence Section and the Rural Area Patrol of Pat Heung Division.

 

Investigating into over 10 cases of theft involving air compressors and parts worth over $3 million that happened in Yuen Long between May 2013 and April 2014, the officers identified a theft syndicate and mounted an ambush near a godown in Pat Heung on June 24, leading to the arrest of a suspect.
