Invited by the Auxiliary Support Bureau, the Police Rugby Club took part in the 2nd Police Sports Clubs Fair at Auxiliary Police Headquarters on August 19. The Rugby Club fielded an experienced team of senior players and committee members, and the response from the almost 200 recruits under the Auxiliary University Scheme was very encouraging.

The Rugby Club has arranged for new paid-up members to attend free introductory touch rugby training sessions at Tai Hang Tung Recreational Ground to be held every Wednesday evening for 10 weeks between 7.30pm and 9pm, starting September 17. They will also be able to watch the Police rugby team play their annual fixture against the Rhino's on September 27, and this game will also be a testimonial for Police rugby legend Dave Lewis who retires from the Force later this year.
