Recruitment Division (RD) arranged a visit to Police College's campus in Aberdeen on October 11 for members of the Junior Police Call and youth uniformed groups in order to deepen their understanding of police work and the recruitment selection process.

At a seminar, RD Senior Inspector Chan Yuen-kau kicked off the event by explaining the selection processes of Probationary Inspector and Recruit Police Constable. A junior inspector and a Police Constable also shared their former training in Police College and frontline police work. They also encouraged the participants to join the Force.

Following the seminar was a demonstration of physical fitness test, during which the participants were keen to know more about preparation for applying for police posts, training in Police College, and frontline police work. The visit programme also included a tour of training facilities, including the Drill Square and the Tactical Training Complex. After the visit, they showed a great interest in joining the Force and some even made applications on the spot.

More recruitment information is available on Police Public Page and Force Mobile Applications.
