Traffic Kowloon East and Road Safety Patrol Kowloon East Region held the Sau Mau Ping (SMP) Road Safety Town Open Day cum Smart Elderly Ambassador Scheme Award Presentation Ceremony on Novembers 8 for promoting road safety to elderly pedestrians. Among a large gathering of guests were Kowloon East Regional Commander Richard Morgan and the Deputy Chairman of the Kwun Tong District Council, Ms Ann So.

 

As part of the programme of the day, several elderly volunteers were presented with Smart Elderly Ambassador Scheme Award in recognition of their contributions to an elderly road safety educational campaign conducted over the past 12 months in Kowloon East Region. Adding additional flavour to the day's proceedings were violin performances and martial art displays.
