The Secretary for the Civil Service (SCS), Mr Paul Tang, presented his commendation to 81 civil servants on February 10 for their exemplary performances. Nine members of the Force have been commended this year and five of them received the commendation at the presentation ceremony. 

 

Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Wong Chi-hung, Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Lau Chi-wai and Police Civil Secretary Leung Ho-yin were on hand to share the joy with the Force members at the ceremony.

 

The nine officers are Senior Superintendent Angela Ng Ho-chun, Superintendent Chan Chun, Chief Inspectors Chan Yu-lung, Ng Cheuk-hung and Tang Chun-wah, Senior Inspector Yeung Pang-hoi, Station Sergeants Chu Hoi-ming and Tong Kwok-wing, and Computer Operator I Yick Kin-ming.

 

The SCS's Commendation Scheme was introduced in 2004 to recognise the officers who have come up with outstanding performances for at least five consecutive years.
