Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung and Deputy Commissioner (Management) Lo Wai-chung recently served Chinese sweet dumplings for the Senior Officers' Mess members who joined the New Year Basin Feast Luncheon, the first Senior Officers' Mess event in 2015. A total of 96 participants, including personal secretaries, joined the festive event with joy and happiness on March 4.

It has been a long tradition in the Senior Officers' Mess that the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners would personally cut turkey for the officers during the Christmas Luncheon to thank their efforts throughout the year. The Christmas Luncheon 2014 was, however, cancelled due to Operation SOLARPEAK.

Mr Tsang took the opportunity during the New Year Basin Feast Luncheon to once again thank officers for their hard work, dedication to duty and steadfastness in maintaining law and order in the past year, perpetuating the fine Mess tradition by serving Chinese sweet dumplings for the officers.
