With the support of Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee (TM DFCC), New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office and Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) Senior Police Call, the Police Community Relations Office (PCRO) of TMDIST staged a Prevention of Technology Crime Roadshow at San Hui Market and Tuen Mun Town Plaza on February 9. The objective of this activity was to alert the public to online "naked chat" blackmail, online auction fraud, email deception and online scams, as well as sexual offences associated with social networking platforms.

That day TMDIST Police Community Relations Officer Choy Chun-wah led a party of TM DFCC members and patrol sub-unit officers from Castle Peak and Tuen Mun Divisions in promoting fight-crime messages by distributing leaflets and souvenirs. At the same time, a promotional video on prevention of deception on social media and "naked chat" blackmail was played in Tuen Mun Town Plaza and Tuen Mun Government Offices. The video was the joint effort of the Office of Service Learning of Lingnan University and PCRO TMDIST.
