Knowledge Cafe - 'To Do or Not to Do for First Officers at Scene'

Three experienced officers, Tsuen Wan District Deputy District Commander Sin Chi-sing, Yuen Long District Assistant District Commander (Crime) Chan Siu-ming and Chief Inspector (CIP) of Forensic Firearms Examination Division Ng Wing-yin conducted the latest session of Knowledge Cafe on the topic of "To Do or Not to Do for First Officers at Scene" on November 18.

Both Mr Sin and Mr Chan shared the first hand information of some of the serious crimes they had handled, beefing up the audience's knowledge of preserving evidence at crime scenes and avoiding common mistakes. CIP Ng's talk on the ways to identify and handle air guns and bullets generated a great interest among the audience.

Most of the participants found the presentations inspiring and useful for their day-to-day jobs. For the Uniform Branch audience, the presentations would help them co-operate closer with crime stream officers.
