Police Tactical Unit Headquarters (PTU HQ) continued supporting a charity event, "Operation Santa Claus 2015", on December 8 in line with its fine tradition over the years. This year, contributions came from PTU HQ, Regional Tier I Companies including resident PTU Companies, Emergency Units, Quick Reaction Force, Special Duties Unit (SDU) and units under Operations Wing, including Operation Bureau, Counter-Terrorism and Internal Security Division and Counter Terrorism Response Unit.

A total of 500 officers from PTU HQ, SDU, and the PTU X-Ray and Yankee Companies displayed high spirits while taking on physical challenges, following an opening address by PTU Deputy Commandant Lui Kam-ho.

In the charity event, the officers tackled five major challenges. Officers dipped into their pockets generously for charity sales of donated items, a charity buffet lunch and a photo-taking session, raising over $100,000 for charity. The event came to a successful conclusion with Mr Lui presenting a cheque to a South China Morning Post representative.
