New Territories South (NTS) Region hosted a liaison gathering for nearly 40 Junior Police Call (JPC) honorary presidents on January 28.


In his welcoming address, NTS Regional Commander Lui Hon-kwok introduced the inter-departmental and multi-disciplinary approaches adopted by the Force to promote the JPC scheme. He also thanked the JPC honorary presidents for supporting efforts to achieve a sustainable development of the scheme.


After Mr Lui's speech, Police Public Relations Branch Superintendent Yau Sin-man briefed the guests on the latest developments of the scheme. At the same time, Chief Inspector Sum Ching-fun from Kwai Tsing District gave a presentation on "Project Go Front", which aims at offering services to Non-ethnic Chinese youths.


The participants saw the liaison gathering as a good platform to promote JPC activities.
