In the finals of the "Inter-Disciplined Services Tennis Tournament" held on February 27, the Police Tennis Team beat long-time rival Fire Services Department (FSD) and defended championship for the seventh year in a row in front of the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok, heads of the disciplined services and other guests.

In the final match of the tournament held at Police College, the Force team, led by key players Clement Lee and Ian Pang, beat the FSD Tennis Team by 6-3, and received the champion trophy from Mr Richard Tang, sponsor of the tournament.

Police Tennis Club Vice-chairman, Superintendent Stephen Mok, pointed out that Police Tennis Team members had enhanced their standard with hard work, resulting in their good performances in the tournament in recent years. He also encouraged Force members to join his club to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
