An eight-member delegation, led by Mr Cao Shiquan, President of the People's Public Security University of China (PPSUC), visited Police College on March 29 and 30 and met Acting Directors of Police College Cho Ming-lung and Dr Cheng Tak-ming to exchange views on bilateral police training co-operation.

The delegates then visited the three schools and Detective Training Centre under Police College to gain a better understanding of the College's vision on Training and Development Plan, Knowledge Management, Emotion Management and Design of Study Programme.

The delegates also attended sharing sessions organised by Recruit Training Division, Junior Police Officers Development Learning Division and Weapons Training Division on their training jobs. The sessions also served as a platform for the delegation to exchange experiences with the officers under training.

An open forum was also arranged for the delegation, the Force instructors who had been seconded to PPSUC and members of the PPSUC Alumni Association in order to find out the feedback from the Force members, so that training arrangements can be refined accordingly.
