With the efforts of the Police College, Senior Inspectors (SIPs) Tse Tsz-kwan and Cheung Hoi-ting attended the Management Development Programme organised by the Queensland Police Service Academy from February 22 to March 4 in Australia.

Tailor-made for middle-ranking police officers, the programme aimed to teach participants practical and innovative management skills. The two SIPs had been greatly inspired by the sharing of speakers and professors on leadership training, environmental review, communication skills and project management.

The SIPs also visited local police stations to learn about their daily policing work. They said that the training programme had given them a valuable chance to establish a good partnership with overseas agencies at both managerial and working levels.
