Tai Po District (TPDIST) Commander Patrick Laidler led officers from Sheung Shui Division to visit Lung Yeuk Tau on April 27. They gave a crime prevention talk to villagers with the assistance of officers from the New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office.

The talk enabled villagers to gain a better understanding of the latest crime trend and obtain crime prevention information. Then Mr Laidler and the Village Representatives distributed anti-crime leaflets in the villages at Lung Yeuk Tau. The visit marked one of the activities of Project Village Watch launched by TPDIST to strengthen communication between officers and villagers.
