In line with a recruitment campaign launched in partnership with some secondary schools that admit Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC), Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) held a recruitment talk on April 27 to attract potential NEC students to join the Force.

At the invitation of CMA Choi Cheung Kok Secondary School, TMDIST Police Community Relations Officer Choi Sau-kuen and Senior Inspector Leung Yuen-lung of Recruitment Division gave a talk to more than 60 NEC students of Form 5 and Form 6. Ms Choi introduced the recruitment campaign whilst    Ms Leung explained the scope of police work, their career path, staff welfare and application procedures.

The response to the talk was overwhelming. Four secondary schools have joined the recruitment campaign since its inception in 2014.
