Regional Crime Prevention Office of Kowloon East (RCPO KE) and District Intelligence Section of Wong Tai Sin District (DIS WTSDIST) held a "Fight Crime Hand-in-Hand" seminar for about 40 senior managerial staff of property management and security companies on May 25 with a view to updating the participants of crime trends as well as strengthening communication between the Force and the security sector.

After Regional Crime Prevention Officer of KE Ng Shu-hung gave introductory remarks, Station Sergeant (SSGT) Lam Kwok-ching of DIS WTSDIST gave an account of the latest crime statistics and highlighted the security loopholes in some public housing estates. Then SSGT Lau Wai-por from RCPO KE explained the methods of preventing burglaries and other keys to preventing crime. Crime prevention leaflets and information booklets for security personnel were distributed at the seminar.
