A total of 60 Senior Police Call (SPC) Captains, SPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) members and SPC Honorary Presidents from 20 Districts attended the first SPC Captain Round Table Conference at the Police Headquarters on June 8 with a view to enhancing communication among SPC members, Police and community stakeholders as well as developing leadership of SPC Captains.

Chairperson of SPC CAB Mr Yu Tat-chung explained that round table is a form of discussion at which each person is given equal right to participate, and this format enabled SPC Captains, SPC CAB members and SPC Honorary Presidents to exchange freely their ideas.

SPC Captains evaluated major SPC events and gave many constructive suggestions on the SPC Fight Crime Vigour Truck and SPC Newsletter. After the discussion, Hong Kong Island Traffic Headquarters shared road safety tips with SPC Captains.

Superintendent of Police Public Relations Branch Yau Sin-man thanked all participants for their efforts in cultivating the SPC Scheme.
