The head of security and fraud risk of a local bank, Mr David Poon, and his team members presented pennants and an appreciation letter to officers of Shatin District (STDIST) on June 8 in appreciation of their efforts in the swift detection of an attempted robbery involving the use of a pistol-like object at a branch of the bank in October last year. A man was subsequently arrested and was convicted to imprisonment for eight years.

Receiving the pennants were STDIST Commander Kwan Chui-ching, Acting Assistant Commander (Crime) Wong Chi-ming, Officer-in-charge of District Crime Squad 3 Wong Hau-yi and Officer-in-charge of District Intelligence Section.
