Accompanied by Police Community Liaison Assistant of Sau Mau Ping District (SMPDIST) Maqsood Hussain, Assistant Police Community Relations Officer of SMPDIST Tang Chi-wai and Sergeant of SMPDIST Tang Ping-hong attended the Eid al-Fitr prayer on July 6 to mark the end of Ramadan, at the invitation of Chief Imam of Kwun Tong Madrassa Qari Muhammad Awais who is a Junior Police Call Honorary Advisor on Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC).

Qari Muhammad Awais thanked some 600 guests for attending the activity and expressed appreciation to the Force for providing services to NEC, adding that the Force has forged closer liaison with the NEC and nurtured mutual trust.

The officers regarded their attendance as a good opportunity to meet people with different cultures. They also took the opportunity to spread anti-crime message.
