The Summer Programme of the Third Tuen Mun Fight Crime Street Run, which was jointly organised by Tuen Mun District (TMDIST), Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee (TMDFCC) and Lingnan University with the support of the Police Athletics Club, was launched on  July 12. Over 40 students, including Non-ethnic Chinese and teachers from local secondary schools joined the eight-lesson programme.


Officiating at the kick-off ceremony were Acting Commander of TMDIST Ko Kim-fung, the Chairman of TMDFCC, TMDIST Police Community Relations Officer Choi Sau-kuen and Vice-chairman of the Police Athletics Club cum Chief Inspector Wong Tak-choi. Mr Ko joined the run with the participants to cheer them up.


With an aim to instilling the spirit of "Never Give Up" and "I Can Do It" among the young participants, the programme was designed by professional coaches, and TMDIST police volunteers would assist in the training to spread fight crime messages to the participants.
