To promote anti-drug message to Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC), Yuen Long District (YLDIST) invited 30 NEC, including their leaders, Imam and teenagers, to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Drug Info Centre in Admiralty on July 18.

On the same day, the participants visited the High Court, where a police officer briefed them on the work of the Judiciary and the structure of the courts to enhance their knowledge of the local judicial system and their sense of belonging to Hong Kong.

On the other hand, YLDIST in conjunction with ELCHK Enlighten Centre and the Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations of Yuen Long District held an anti-drug workshop on June 24 for over 30 parents of the federation.

YLDIST Commander Fok Lok-sang spoke about the dangerous drug trend at the workshop while a social worker of the Enlighten Centre explained how the parenting pattern might affect their children's attitude towards drug abuse. A former drug-addicted mother was also invited to share the dark side of her past.
