Marine Region organised a visit for the mentees of the Marine Police Mentorship Programme (MPMP) to the Small Boat Division (SBDIV) and the Trial and Maintenance Unit (TMU) at Government Dockyard on August 10.

The mentees, who came from the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps and the Lingnan University, were briefed on the history, duties and equipment of SBDIV and TMU. Afterwards, SBDIV officers brought the mentees to take a look at different types of police launches while TMU officers explained to the mentees the maintenance of these launches.

The visit helped to raise the mentees' understanding of the frontline work of the Marine Police.
